The Dog cribs about Delhi University

I know I'm 10 days too late but it takes time to recover from the fact that Kirori Mal College's cut off was 98. SRCC's 100 was totally justified. Who doesn't score a 100? Scoring a 100 in the boards is as easy as just sitting idle. And the best part about admissions is that even if you're an above average student, you'll end up in a college. So what if it's for Philosophy Honors? It's still in Delhi University, where the analysis of college canteens is more important than faculty, proximity of malls is more important than the infrastructure of the college and frequency of exams is less than the occurrence of the big bang.

And the hardwork you put in throughout Class XII is totally justified. It's not like people who don't know how to spell orange will end up scoring 95 in English.. or for that matter, you score a 95 when you most definitely screwed up a 12 marker.. it's all fair. Also, what really makes me cry happy tears is the fact that your entire life is based on 15 hours of exam time in a Government school.. (where the invigilator breaks a bottle of Frooty.. or Fruity.. during the exam... but that's not distracting at all)

Do I need to crib about reservations? Doesn't the mere concept, or even the word 'reservations' infuriate your blood? Make their education free, give them all the books in the world, STEAL THE KOHINOOR FROM THE QUEEN AND DISTRIBUTE IT AMONG THE SC/STs but please remove reservations.

Also, when you score a 94, you think you'll get into the top college but NO. DU WANTS YOU TO STRUGGLE. Forget about those who scored anything less than 92.. and those who scored 87, HAHAHAAHA, Loser.

Some stats-
No. of people appearing for the boards: 9,00,000
No. of seats in Delhi University: 27000 (for general candidates; including courses like Sanskrit Hons.)

Enough said.
